Marketing Assistant

Position Description

This is an entry level position. We are looking for a candidate with up to two years of marketing experience. The ideal candidate will be organized, hardworking, thorough, and interested in all aspects of marketing. Please do not apply unless you possess all the qualifications.

Responsibilities

Research and gather information for marketing programs and projects
Assist with campaign development through various direct mail projects
Write, edit and proofread letters, collateral, campaign copy, etc.
Assist with the coordination of tradeshows & events through the organization of promotional materials, displays, pre-show efforts, & post show follow-up
Coordinate receiving of incoming and shipping of outgoing packages
Provide administrative support to CEO, Marketing Manager, & Sales Teams
Assist with development, design and distribution of marketing collateral for customers

Results oriented, self motivated team player
Highly organized
Creative, out-of-the-box thinker
Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high stress environment and deal with multiple projects and deadlines
This position will report directly to CEO and work closely with all members of the sales, marketing and support teams
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and great phone demeanor
Ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of projects within prescribed deadlines
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet
Ability to work under limited supervision
